Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a 33 town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam.  Our dedicated staff provides a full range of preventative and primary care medical services to all ages including health maintenance of chronic diseases, 24 hour on call, hospitalization coverage and patient case management, as well as complete behavioral health and dental services at our Willimantic and Putnam sites and through our School Based Health Center and ACROSS THE SMILES, a mobile dental program operating in the Northeast and Windham service area.


LOCATION: Putnam, CT

Responsibilities

Assist with coordination of patient flow and prepare patients for examination and procedures.  Provide chair-side assistance during examination and treatment of patients (performing four-handed dentistry, evacuation, retracing, mixing material, and exchanging instruments).  Clean and sterilize dental equipment and keep inventory of dental supplies, medications and samples.  Must keep in compliance with all Generations Family Health Center protocols, including documenting of waived testing and medications.  Also responsible for some administrative functions such as filing of lab reports.

Qualifications

Successful completion of training program and/or 3 years experience. Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) Radiation and Safety certification. Experience in General Dentistry practice highly preferred. 

 

 

Pay Rate: $14.15/hour
